RESORT EVENTS

MarDon Resort hosts several fishing tournaments and special family events throughout the year!

We have continued to be a local favorite destination because of some of the events and surrounding community events held annually in this area. Our central location, large lake and access to several seep lakes make MarDon Resort a haven for water recreation events. If you are a fishing sportsman you will find our fishing tournaments to be some of the best held in the state and not to mention we have several family events such as an annual favorite Lake Games and beach party!

  Aug 18-22, 2026 - Grant County Fair Camping at Mardon Resort during fair week? Spend a fun-filled day at the Grant County Fair in Moses Lake, featuring exciting carnival rides, live entertainment, delicious fair food, agricultural exhibits, a thrilling rodeo, the crowd-favorite demolition derby, and family-friendly attractions.

  Sept 18-20, 2026 - The MarDon Dock Tourney is a family-friendly, boatless fishing competition held annually at MarDon Resort on Potholes Reservoir in Othello, Washington. Participants fish directly from the extensive marina dock system to catch the heaviest fish across 10 different species.Entry fee is $40 with an angler limit (around 140 participants) that often sells out. Cash payouts awarded to the two heaviest fish caught for each of the 10 separate species (20 total winning spots).

  Aug 19-20, 2026 - Banks Lake Bass Club Tournament. 2026 Old Farts Team Tournament - Registration: Friday 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Saturday 5:00 am to 6:15 am. Saturday Drivers Meeting: 6:15am.Blast Off: 6:30 am. Weigh In: 3:00pm. One team member must be 40+ years old. Saturday 9/19/265 | Entry Fee: $200 per team. Payout: Big Fish at $25 per team 1 in 5 entries payout at 80% of $175 per team. Cash Only at the 9/18 and 9/19 Registration. This is a not for profit event - Net Profits used for a Scholarship for a graduating senior from Roosevelt HS. Only prop Driven Outboards allowed. No Air Boats, Jet Boats or Mud Buddies Allowed

MarDon Resort hosts several annual family oriented events throughout the season, which include: 4th of July Fireworks and Golf Cart Parade, Dock Tournament and entertainment such as, live band's, karaoke and painting at the beach house.

NEW to Mardon Resort is our 18 hole Mini-Golf. Set among basalt stone lanscape and a cool light breeze along the Potholes Reservoir. Enetrtainment for your whole family and party groups. Learn more
